Eccleshill United under-14s thrashed Weston Lane 14-1 in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League Cup.

Adil Mirza and Curtis Braybrook grabbed hat-tricks with the other goalscorers being goalkeeper Asher Holdsworth (2), Ben Binns (2), Michael Binns, James Dawn, Josh Camponie and Ricky Athwal.

Despite not getting on the scoresheet, Joe Fitpatrick was voted man of the match.

Shipley Juniors under-11s Lions went back to the top of Division B with a resounding 7-2 win at Keighley Shamrocks.

Jordan Busfield led the way with a hat-trick and there were two apiece for strikers Thomas Boldy and man of the match Thomas Heath.

Shipley's under-11 Tigers were 9-2 winners at Long Lee B with man of the match Asa Gartland netting four.

Harryson Strik (2), Sam Johnson, Calum Cullen and Guy Huffen were also on target.

Farsley Celtic Juniors under-11s beat under-strength Kippax 3-2 in a hard-fought game.

Kippax started the game with ten men and ended up playing with only nine, yet proved formidable opponents.

Striker Alex Gyte scored twice and Dominic Staunton sealed victory with the third.

Bradford Park Avenue under-eights B finally found their form by closing out the season with a 6-0 thumping of Guiseley in the Keybury League.

Four goals from man of the match Lewis Pace, one from Liam Bates and a sublime chip from Olaf Ratkowski ensured Avenue finished the season in style.

Eccleshill under-eights Green lost 3-2 to Dudley Hill Blue.

Aaron Day scored both goals for Eccleshill and goalkeeper Tyler Sheeky-Halstead was named man of the match for some outstanding saves.

Dudley Hill grabbed the winner with the last kick of the game.

Eccleshill under-11s were also beaten, Undercliffe Celtic taking the points with a 5-1 victory.

Josh Moore grabbed the consolation for Eccleshill.

Dale Mitchell was the saviour between the sticks on several occasions for Prospect under-nines in their 2-1 win over Keighley Shamrocks.

He denied the visitors clear-cut scoring opportunities but the relentless pressure finally told as a Shamrocks striker neatly slotted home from eight yards.

Joe Rowbottom's shot ricocheted off a wall of Shamrocks players straight to Daniel Kumar, who chipped the ball over the keeper to equalise.

Five minutes from time a clearance was intercepted by Amee Ruskai, whose cross from the right was volleyed home by Sam Falkingham.

Prospect's player of the match James Clapham was outstanding in midfield, as were Ben Townsend and Imran Daya.

Albion Sports under-nines A controlled a muddy encounter with Pudsey Juniors A, winning 2-0.

A first-half strike from Kamron Basi and a last-minute thunderbolt from Karamjit Basi were enough to win the game.

Liam Singh was outstanding for Albion.

The B team were also winners against Pudsey, with a rare goal from man of the match Inam Haider.

Ketan Dharni made three superb saves on the way to his second consecutive clean sheet. Is-Haq Khan also put on a fantastic display.

Prospect Juniors under-13s had to battle to overcome a determined Churwell Lions in Division Two of the Garforth League.

Simon Mcquiston put Prospect ahead midway through the first half when he lobbed the keeper from outside the box.

After a host of missed chances, Anthony Gibson finally made the game safe with a header from a corner.

Two minutes later goalkeeper Jonny Cowan scored from the penalty spot after the ball was handled on the goal-line.

Then in the last minute, man of the match Sam Oliver scored with a long-range free-kick to make the final score

4-0.

Pudsey Juniors Girls under-16s, playing their first game for a month, looked ring-rusty in the early stages before coming through to beat Battyeford Girls 9-3.

Faye Boshell and Sarah Cromack headed Pudsey's first two goals with Naomi-Jayne Scorah, Vicky Mladenovic and Lorna Stringwell making the half-time score 5-1.

One of the supporters brought a big bass drum to the game and his constant beat spurred on both teams in the second half.

Further Pudsey goals came from Stringwell, Charlotte Walker and Boshell.

l Eccleshill United Juniors have received the FA's prestigious Charter Standard Club award for their work in the community.

As part of their development plans, the club set up soccer schools to go alongside their existing teams aged under-12 to under-17.

There was also a commitment to ensure all 17 junior team managers completed their level one coaching award.

This season 84 tracksuits and kit were bought for the youngsters with the help of funding from the Football Foundation plus sponsorship through under-14 manager Mark Holstead.
