Silsden 2 Keighley Athletic 0 - This was a hard-fought cup tie, with Athletic giving their all against high-flyers Silsden.
The visitors starter the brighter, harrying the Silsden defence and creating opportunities. As the half wore on Silsden began to come more into the game and had several chances before James Gill's shot took a wicked deflection to beat Heath Maddocks in the Athletic goal.
Athletic were not downcast and dominated the early part of the second half, Foulger making several impressive saves including the one which proved crucial as he acrobatically turned away Steve Kernan's penalty after Paul Goodwin had been up-ended.
Minutes later Silsden broke quickly and Alex Familio handled on the line. The sending-off which followed was as inevitable as the penalty decision and Gill made no mistake from the spot.
Undaunted, the ten men of Athletic battled gamely through the second-half and continued to create chances right up to the final whistle.
