Support of the Bulls is enjoying a mini-renaissance in the wake of their Grand Final glory.

The club has already attracted more than 1,000 new season-ticket holders for 2006 on the back of lifting the Super League title.

The big kick-off is still seven weeks away but there has been terrific interest so far ahead of the opener at Wakefield.

"We are delighted with the response from our supporters to this year's season tickets," said Bulls' media, PR and football manager Stuart Duffy.

"Sales are up ten per cent on the same period last year and the fans have really reacted positively to our Grand Final success."

Duffy added: "Season tickets represent great value for money and guarantee tickets for big matches. They will make a great Christmas present and fans can currently take advantage of fantastic discounts."

Supporters can save up to £63 on full matchday prices with tickets starting at £154 - giving 14 matches for the price of 11 - while junior home and away season tickets can be bought for as little as £55.

Tickets for the World Club Challenge match against Wests Tigers went on general sale this morning.

Meanwhile, more praise has been heaped on chairman Chris Caisley following his announcement he will leave the club in the New Year.

Bradford South Labour MP Gerry Sutcliffe said: "I would like to acknowledge the tremendous success of Chris Caisley not just at the Bulls but what he has done for rugby league in general.

"He has been really good for the game and the club, taking it to great heights, and he has done a tremendous amount for Bradford as a city. He will be missed."

RFL executive chairman Richard Lewis added: "Chris has played a significant role in their success, devoting tremendous time and energy."
