Demolition specialists GBM have finished knocking down Keighley hospital buildings riddled with asbestos.
The former staff accommodation blocks at Airedale General Hospital were removed over a period of weeks to make way for a new mental health unit.
Prior to demolition each of the pre-cast concrete buildings was swathed in plastic so that external coatings containing asbestos could be moved.
GBM senior contracts manager Martin Wall said: "Once our environmental team had removed the external coatings of the buildings, the demolition and clearance of the site was very straightforward. Pretty much all the materials from the old blocks has been sent for re-cycling or re-used on the site."
Mr Wall said noise and dust levels had been a particular consideration. But he said because the old buildings had been away from the main hospital buildings, demolition work had been completed without disruption.
"I'd be very happy if people were unaware that we'd been there," he added.
