Undercliffe Celtic won a fierce en-counter 3-2 at top-of-the-table Eccles-hill Pumas in the B Division.

Gareth Thompson put Celtic ahead, despite a nose bleed and a bad chest, and colleague Joe Walker Kay made it 2-2 after being badly winded. Then Thompson got the winner with less than three minutes to go.

Karamjit Basi got the only goal of the game for Albion Sports A under-nines against Pudsey Juniors A in the Garforth League but Albion keeper Randip Uppal saved a penalty Jaska-ran Singh controlled midfield for the winners. Albion Sports won the B match 3-0, Ryan Watling bagging a hat-trick and Ishaq Khan playing well in defence.

Prospect Juniors defeated Garforth Rangers 4-1, Oliver Eli hitting a screamer from 20 yards to open the scoring, man of the match Curtis Rawnsley pouncing on a loose ball to make it 2-0.

Simon McQuiston scored his customary goal, beating four defenders on a mazy run in the second half, and Luke Dickenson got the fourth.

Farsley, who went behind, defeated Kippax 3-1 in a quarter-final of the Under-11s Challenge Cup.
