Bowling struck first when Chris Wood's free-kick went in untouched through a crowded goalmouth but with most of the pressure coming from unbeaten Division One side Park Avenue, it was a big test for Bowling's leaky defence.

Paul Blake gave the visitors an early lead direct from a corner but Bells hit back in the last five minutes through Des Rouse, Ciaran Malarkey and Ruben Goole despite having a player sent off.

A Sean Firth penalty looked good enough to give Victoria Rangers the points against Wibsey WMC but, not for the first time, they surrendered the lead as Wibsey scored twice late on, the first via an own goal, to win 2-1.

The comeback of the day belonged to Ventus Sports, who were 4-0 behind and down to ten men but hit back to draw

4-4 and end the 100 per cent Division 1A record of Eccleshill United Sunday.
