Businesses in Bradford are being invited to help shape the future of the Canal Road area at a special forum early next month.
Companies are being asked to respond to planned changes in the infrastructure on Monday, December 5, at Bradford City Football Club. It is being co-ordinated by the private-sector led Economic Development Partnership and Bradford Vision.
Some Neighbourhood Renewal funding has already been secured for the proposals. Companies in the Canal Road area have already received invitations to the event.
Bradford Chamber of Commerce chief executive Sandy Needham will open the forum and Bradford Centre Regeneration's Marc Cole will outline the objectives while representatives from planning and engineering consultancy Ove Arup will highlight the proposed changes.
David Cubitt will outline the Manningham Means Business approach and businesses will be asked if they want their own "collective voice" to represent them.
