PANTO time comes to Settle with a performance of the classic Cinderella to coincide with the switching on of the town's Christmas lights tomorrow (Saturday).

Theatre North is staging the professional family pantomime at the Victoria Centre at 7.30pm and again at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on December 10.

Other attractions at Settle's switch-on include a fashion show and a parade of pantomime dames on a stage in the market place and Santa's grotto. A lantern procession takes place at 4pm and afterwards there will be carol singing until 5pm when round-the-world cyclist Alastair Humphreys will switch on the lights.

Tickets for Cinderella, which promises buckets of audience participation and fun, are available from Settle Victoria Centre Box Office on 01729 825718. They are priced at £7.50, £6.50 and £6 concessions.
