A teenage Bulls fan who had her arm broken by another supporter during the club's Grand Final triumph has been given tickets to

tomorrow's Tri-Nations finale.

Claire Robinson has been given the tickets by Rugby League bosses who were shocked at what

happened to her during the sport's showpiece final last month.

The 17-year-old from Baildon had travelled with her father and a friend to watch Bradford Bulls overcome the Leeds Rhinos to win the Super League.

And she thought her dreams had come true when she caught the boot her hero Iestyn Harris had thrown into the Old Trafford crowd.

But moments later her dream was shattered as she had her arm broken in a tussle with another Bulls fan who snatched the boot from her.

The incident happened just seconds after the Bulls had clinched a third historic Grand Final success.

Instead of being able to celebrate the victory,

however, Claire was driven from Manchester to Bradford Royal Infirmary by her father, where x-rays revealed that she had fractured her wrist.

Rugby Football League officials were shocked at hearing about Claire's ordeal and have decided to invite her as a guest to the Tri-Nations final between Australia and New Zealand at Elland Road tomorrow.

She was presented with her tickets by Bulls player Joe Vagana at Odsal Stadium yesterday.

RFL spokesman John Huxley said: "We heard about what happened to Claire and obviously we do not like this happening in our sport. It is a very rare occurrence but we wanted to show Claire that we do care and wanted to respond positively."

Claire said: "I am really grateful. I didn't expect anything to come from this. I was amazed when the Bulls gave me Iestyn Harris's shirt - but then to be invited as a guest to the Tri-Nations final is more than I would ever have expected."

A Bradford Bulls spokesman said: "We were appalled by the incident which happened to Claire in the Grand Final between Bradford and Leeds and we are delighted that has been given these tickets."

The incident is now being investigated by Greater Manchester Police.
