Bradford companies are being invited to take part in free workshops which demonstrate the advantages of doing business the ethical way.
The "Destination Great Business" events, organised by Business In The Community to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR), are aimed at directors and senior managers. They are supported by Bradford-based Yorkshire Water, BITC's Utility Company of the Year.
The first event next Wednesday, 'The DNA of improved business performance', takes place at Yorkshire Water's premises in Esholt Hall between 1pm and 4.30pm. Risk management experts Ascona Ltd will speak about CSR business objectives
On Monday, December 12 PricewaterhouseCoopers will hosts an afternoon seminar on how CSR can enhance reputations and brands at its Leeds office at 33 Wellington Street.

Yorkshire Water's managing director Kevin Whiteman said: "We have experienced at first hand the tangible benefits of embracing corporate social responsibility, using it as a tool to audit and improve every aspect of our operations."
Mark Webster, of Price-waterhouseCoopers, added: "We take corporate social responsibility very seriously, and have seen first hand the benefits for both the communities we support and our staff. Pricewaterhouse-Coopers recently came fifth in Business in the Community's Corporate Responsibility Index, which was a great achievement."
