SEVEN-YEAR-OLD Ben Tate has become one of the youngest British Ju-Jitsu champions.
Ben, who lives in Riddlesden and attends Glusburn Primary School, took part in the sport's British Championships last week and won the Under-8s Ground Fighting event.
The competition involved holding his opponents on the floor for a count of 10.
"He was one of the smallest in the competition but still managed to win the event," said his mother, Sarah.
