SOUTH Craven School junior footballers Simon Todd and Christian Paulat-Brigg have both been snapped up by professional clubs.
Simon, who has been a permanent fixture in the Silsden Juniors side since he started at five-years-old, has signed a contract with Bradford City.
He was one of the key members of their under-13 side. As part of his contract, he can no longer play for the Silsden side.
The right-sided defender or midfielder was selected for the Bantams after impressing in a game against Glasgow and in a further trial.
The Manchester United fan has played in eight games so far this season, netting one goal.
For goalkeeper Christian, it is the start of a dream come true after signing for his favourite team, Burnley.
But it was a case of third-time lucky after having had one unsuccessful trial at Burnley and Bradford City.
He said: "I was disappointed that I didn't make it the first time but I feel chuffed. It was a different coach who came the second time."
He has previously played with both Sutton and Bingley Juniors.
