WHARFEDALE travel to Orrell this Saturday with a warning from coach John Lawn not to read too much into their opponents' poor start to the season.

Having been relegated from National One last season, the Lancashire side opened their campaign with a 31-21 defeat at home to Blackheath before being whitewashed 51-0 by Waterloo last Saturday.

He said: "It would be easy to be misled by the heavy defeat at Waterloo who are showing what a powerful team they are. It's foolish to write them off as they only lost narrowly to Blackheath, who also look a strong side this year. We'll have to be right on top of our game to get something out of it."

Like Henley, who Dale saw off 34-10 in their opening fixture at the Avenue last week, Lawn expects Orrell to throw the ball around.

"They have young exciting players who like to move the ball quickly. They did this against Blackheath but struggled to get any ball against Waterloo's big pack. We don't provide that challenge so there should be plenty of attacking rugby."

Skipper Andy Baggett returns for the Greens in a slightly unfamiliar spot on the wing having missed last week with a knee injury.

New recruit Mark Bedworth impressed at inside centre and keeps his place with Lawn admitting it was a tough decision to alter the back line following last week's impressive display.

But Baggett comes in for James Hutchinson who drops to the bench, a bang on the head which needed stitches being a contributing factor.

The other change to the starting line-up sees Craig Ingram start at prop, swapping places with Neil Dickinson.

Wharfedale: P Peel, Hindle, Ingram, Capstick, Lister, A Allen, S Allen, Baldwin; Whaites, Horsfall, Malherbe, Bedworth, Bagget, Meehan, Newton. Reps: Charnley, Dickinson, Renton, Hutchinson.
