The Craven and District League U17 team went down to Huddersfield during their most recent Joe Lumb match.
The 96-run loss at Broad Oak saw Craven lose the toss and struggle with the ball as Huddersfield made a high-scoring 257-7.
The most successful Craven bowler, James Freebury, took 4-98.
Missed chances helped Huddersfield but Oakworth's Scott Hartley played his part by taking 2-52.
In reply, the Craveners innings got off to a good start with a second wicket stand of 75 between Liam Dyson and Alex Brown -- both of Oxenhope.
Dyson was eventually out for a top score of 63 including eleven fours and wickets then fell steadily although Paul Quinlan (Airedale) hit a big six in his unbeaten 23.
Craven closed on 161 as Sam Roberts (Keighley) had a broken finger while keeping wicket. Craven were due to play York at Easingwold last Sunday.
