MATTHEW ROBINSON has been selected to ride for England in the World Cyclo-Cross Championships to be held in Denmark next month.
He was selected after taking fifth place in the Junior Section of the National Cyclo-Cross championship at Sutton Park, Birmingham, on Sunday.
This weekend he is also riding for the Great Britain junior team in Holland and follows up that competition with the final round of the National Points event at Lincoln, the following weekend. He is currently in second place in the points even and aims to consolidate his second spot.
Matthew, 17, works as a trainee bench joiner at R N Wooler's who are allowing him time off to compete in the international events.
