A string of contracts worth £3.7 million has been won by Bradford office design and fitting company IMS.

The new deals were brought in after the firm, based in Havelock Street, won a major contract for the interior design and fitting out of Arthur Anderson's new 50,000 sq ft offices in City Square, Leeds.

The firm has won a new contract to fit out a Medicentre at the Sainsbury's supermarket in Solihull.

This is the third Medicentre it has done with the other two being in Sheffield and Gateshead. The new one includes a reception, six consultation rooms and a children's play area.

Global information service provider EDS has taken on IMS to act as construction manager for the fitting out of two floors of the ten-storey Telford Plaza building.

As well as creating a new computer suite, IMS will be responsible for the interior decoration, carpeting, mechanical and electrical alterations in the 18,000 sq ft office.

IMS has also been awarded a contract to design and fit out the Newcastle office of engineering consultant Mott McDonald in preparation for its relocation to the city's flagship regeneration scheme, Quayside Development.

IMS has also won a contract to fit out the three-storey extension of Adlestones which is based in the North West.

The firm prides itself on offering a one-stop shop for businesses including appraisals, space planning, interior design, office fitting and furniture manufacturing.

The company has grown over the last few years due to its ability to win major contracts throughout the UK.
