Boilers for an Asian ready-meals factory, the naval dockyard at Gibraltar and an African distillery are among the major contracts already completed by Byworth Boilers in a busy start to the new year.

One of the UK's leading boiler manufacturers, the Parkwood Street company supplied three MX2500 steam boilers to the country's largest producer of Asian-style ready meals, Noon Products of Southall, Middlesex.

Noon Products supplies ready-made Indian meals for a number of major retail outlets.

One of the boilers was for use in the company's existing factory, while the other two are being installed in a new factory.

A purpose-built mobile steam boiler supplied by Byworth to the naval base in Gibraltar has given such reliable service over 10 years of continuous use that the Ministry of Defence has now taken delivery of a second unit.

Incorporating a Byworth MX3500 reverse flame steam boiler, it is built into a specially-constructed container on a trailer, and will be used to provide steam forvarious on-board ship services around the dockyard.

Byworth has also completed a contract to supply a 10,000lbs/hr MXA5000 steam boiler to Ghana's Gihoc Distillery. The order was clinched in the face of strong competition from both UK and overseas manufacturers, and involved the manufacture, supply, shipping, on-site supervision and final commissioning of the boiler.

Byworth's MX range of packaged steam boilers is capable of providing high quality dry steam under varying load conditions.

Specifically designed to meet the current and future needs of industry, the boilers ensure maximum efficiency when burning any grade of fuel oil or gas with the minimum of emissions.
