Record signing John McGinlay is set to return to Bradford City's squad for tomorrow's match at Wolves.

The £625,000 striker, who has been out of action for a month with a calf injury, had a full training sessions yesterday and manager Paul Jewell said: "If there is no reaction he will be in the squad tomorrow."

It's been a frustrating spell for McGinlay who has struggled to find his goalscoring form since joining City from Bolton at the beginning of November.

Then after scoring his third goal at Stoke in the 2-1 defeat in the Sky TV match on Friday, January 16, he picked up a calf injury and has been on the sidelines since.

McGinlay's presence in the squad could give Jewell a tricky choice between his senior strikers - Edinho and Robbie Blake are the men in possession - with Robert Steiner on the bench in recent matches.

City will also be lifted by the return of defender Eddie Youds who missed Saturday' 1-0 defeat at leaders Middlesbrough through suspension.

However, midfield players Nigel Pepper and Craig Ramage are still banned.

Defenders John Dreyer and Darren Moore are still out with injury although Jewell is encouraged by Dreyer's progress.

He has been missing for more than two months with a foot ligament injury, but Jewell said: "He trained yesterday and although he is feeling sore he thinks he is on the road to recovery."

Moore has been out for three weeks with an abductor muscle injury and Jewell said: "Darren had a setback last week. We are not going to rush him because we have cover in Andy Melville." Melville, who had an impressive debut at Middlesbrough, had his first training session with City yesterday.

Two of City's young players, Craig Midgley and Dennis Sepp were in the wars after a an accidental collision in training. Both had to go to hospital, Midgley with a broken nose and Sepp with a knock on the cheekbone.
