A growing Bradford engineering firm has won a major contract with leading farm equipment company AGCO.

The company beat off stiff competition to win the deal to supply a customised cleaning line for AGCO's Massey Ferguson tractor range.

The new line allows the Coventry-based firm to make sure its key components stay clean for the new 4200 series tractors.

AGCO's chief engineer, process engineering, Steve Page said: "Tempest & Dibb was selected after an exhaustive evaluation of several industrial cleaning specialists."

With 50 years' experience of equipment design and manufacture - backed by an ISO 9001 quality standard certificate - Tempest & Dibb is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of standard and custom-engineered cleaning, surface coating and finishing equipment.

The company supplies customers as far afield as South America, Australia, Egypt, Scandinavia, South Africa, Europe and the USA and has recently embarked on a major export initiative, backed by the DTI.

They also formed a strategic alliance with CAE Ransohoff of Cincinnati, Ohio, one of America's largest suppliers of aqueous cleaning equipment to further develop its export business.

The firm, which developed the Washmaster washing system this year, has been given a lot of help from Business Link Bradford & District.
