LET me make one thing quite clear - I won't tolerate performances like we gave at Featherstone on Monday.

There will be disciplinary action by the club, but I cannot go into details about what will happen at the moment. However fans can rest assured that steps certainly will be taken against the players involved.

I just won't condone that sort of thing happening.

Not only was their discipline terrible, but their performance in the game was appaling.

It just seemed as if they left their brains behind in the changing room.

To say I was upset after the game is a slight under statement ...

I WAS also far from happy on Friday night after the match against Hull KR, but for different reasons.

Then I thought we performed well and threw away a chance to win the game. It seems that whenever something goes against the team they cannot pick themselves up and carry on.

We were by far the best team for long periods of the game, but we need to learn that we can win those games, instead of handing them on a plate to the opposition.

But all the hard work they put into that game was thrown away on Monday night - when we should have followed up with an impressive win.

ON a much more positive note I have managed to get the signatures of Lee Hansen and Grant Anderson who will add some real muscle to the team and should provide the transformation we have all been waiting for.

Last night I was also hoping to have signed George Mann to add to the list.

They have all played Super League and should kick-start the season at last. I have been very disappointed that it hasn't happened earlier because there is the ability in the squad to win matches, but there just doesn't seem to be the belief among the players that they can win.

What we desperately need now is a win so that everyone will know that what we are doing on the training field really is paying dividends.

THIS weekend's game will be another toughie because Widnes have beaten teams which have beaten us.

They were beaten by Whitehaven on Friday, but bounced back by beating Swinton on Monday.

One or two of our new signing will probably be in the team, but it would be wrong to throw them all in at the same time, that would be too much of a disruption, and they need the chance to get back to match fitness.
