A new Brownie-Guide pack is to be launched.

An inaugural meeting will be held on Monday evening at Keighley New Church in Braithwaite village, when District Commissioner Angela Brae will be present with some helpers.

The pack last met several years ago when the Church was based in its previous HQ at Devonshire Street, Keighley, before lack of interest led to closure.

Recently Mrs Brae has taken the lead in revitalising interest in the Brownie-Guide movement in Keighley. Since the Church moved into the derelict church buildings in Braith-waite village three years ago it is able to support a pack in the Braithwaite-Laycock area.

Anybody interested in sending their daughter or supporting the pack as an adult helper should contact Mrs Brae on 645253, or visit the Church Hall between 6.30-8pm.
