A shop worker was attacked and robbed on Tuesday afternoon as she took cash to a town-centre bank.

The woman was grabbed and pushed to the ground at the junction of North Street and Low Street. A carrier bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

The woman was shaken but otherwise uninjured following the incident, which happened at around 3.15pm.

The assailant is described as 6ft 2in and of slim build. He was wearing plain black clothing with a hood over his head, and his face was partly covered with a scarf.

A thief dropped his haul when he was chased after stealing clothes from a washing line in Padget Street, Highfield, on Sunday evening. Police are looking for a white male in his early 20s, with medium build, short ginger hair and a green Berghaus jacket.

A man smashed the window of a house in Greenhead Lane, Utley, on Sunday night but was disturbed by the occupant before he could climb through. Police are looking for an Asian man with slim build, wearing dark blue jeans, a dark Adidas top and a Nike baseball cap.

The Co-op shop in Ingrow was broken into by a man and woman team just after midnight last Friday. The woman kicked open a glass panel, climbed in and handed out wines and spirits. She is described as stocky, in her late teens or early 20s, with short brown hair, a long denim skirt and white top.

The man was 5ft 8in tall with blond hair and wore a jacket with a triangle motif on the back, possibly 'Coq Sportif'.

Two women and a teenage boy burgled a house in Eric Street, Keighley, on Friday evening. The opportunist thieves went in through an open front door and stole cash and cards from the lounge. One woman is described as aged about 30 with a white top and the boy wore a white sweatshirt.
