Central defender John Dreyer is the major doubt for Bradford City ahead of tomorrow's clash with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

The defender was sent home from training yesterday suffering from illness and manager Paul Jewell says he may miss the game which is being televised by Sky.

Dreyer has figured in every match this season but Jewell said: "We have to be prepared that John may not be fit for the game. He came into training yesterday but we decided he should go home.

"We will have to see how he is today with regards to whether he will play. It is touch and go."

City go into tomorrow's game looking for their first away points of the season following defeats at Crewe, Watford and Ipswich although they have won at both Lincoln and Halifax in the Worthington Cup.

West Brom are likely to retain the side which beat Bristol City 3-1 although 18-year-old Enzo Maresca may make his first appearance on the bench after impressing for Albion's reserve side.
