Police are hunting three people who stole £165-worth of goods from the Co-Op Food Fair in Bridge Street, Silsden, on Monday. They entered the shop around noon, took some goods from the wines and spirits section and left without paying. They escaped in a grey Ford Escort - believed to be 'D' reg - parked outside.

The first suspect is described as white, 6ft, in his late 20s, thin, with scruffy hair tied in a pony tail, and wearing an orange waist-length jacket.

The second is a white woman, 5ft 5in, of medium build, with scruffy shoulder-length hair, and wearing a green jacket. The third person - a man - was wearing a T-shirt with a motif on the front.

Keighley Police are looking to track down a man with an 'innocent face' who tried to break into a house. The man, who was joined by an accomplice, tried to break into the house in North Street, Keighley, at 4.20pm on Sunday.

The two suspects approach-ed the house and used a screwdriver to chip away at the lead surrounding an old window frame. Disturbed by the noise, the occupier went to investigate and approached the youths. They then ran off.

One of the suspects is described as a white male with an 'innocent-looking' face, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build and wearing blue jeans. His accomplice is desc-ribed as an asian male wearing a light-coloured pull-over.

The driver of a Ford Escort made off without payment after filling up his car with petrol. The white male driver pulled into the Sainsbury's self service filling station on East Parade from 5-5.30pm last Thursday. He filled up a Ford Escort before driving off.

Keighley Police are looking to track down a boy who indecently assaulted a young girl on Sunday. The girl was walking along Hanover Street, Keighley, at 12.30pm when she was indecently assaulted by the suspect. He is described as a boy of between 13-14 years of age, 5ft 3in tall, with fair cropped hair and a thin face. He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and what appeared to be a red football shirt.

A banner advertising Burn-sall Feast Sports has disappeared from opposite Airedale Hospital. This and two others, from roundabouts at Bolton Abbey and on the A65 near Skipton, were taken shortly after the event last month. However, the banners are reusable and the organisers are keen to recover them. Anybody with any information should contact (01943) 602555.

Keighley police are looking to track down vandals who broke into a warehouse and set off fire extinguishers. Three youths broke into the warehouse of Wilson Midgely and Co in Worth Way at 4.45pm last Saturday. After breaking into the building the youths let off a series of fire extinguishers.

A night watchman went to investigate the cause of the noise and confronted the three youths who then ran off.

Police are looking to track down three white males. Two of them are described as slim whilst the third is described as being stockier in appearance.

A woman who was taking a break from a game of bingo was out of luck when she had her purse stolen.

The woman in her 60's had just given her handbag to her husband and was entering the toilets when a young woman coming out of the toilets grabbed the bag.

The suspect then ran out of the building with the womans purse, which contained $25 in cash.

The theft happened on Tuesday afternoon at around 3.35pm in the Gala Bingo hall in Alice Street.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a white female in her mid 20's, around 5ft 2 inches tall, collar length brown hair with dark freckles on her face. She was wearing a black skirt and jacket.
