Both teams were below strength, but the home side paid the biggest penalty for absent players.

Athletic played controlled football throughout the first half and were rewarded with the only goal of the period after 15 minutes. They should have scored more, but poor finishing let them down.

The game was won and lost 10 minutes into the second half when 'Keystone Cops' defending allowed the visitors to find the net three times.

Craven went further ahead when Bingley conceded a penalty, but despite being four goals down would not give in and Andrew Nelson was on the end of a good passing move to give them hope.

Two further goals from Craven secured the points, but Bingley had the last word with another Nelson goal in the dying minutes.

Crown 3

Keighley Juniors 4

Juniors secured their second win of the season after grinding out a victory in a ding-dong battle.

Juniors opened the scoring only to see Crown find the net twice before the break. As in the first half play swung from end to end with Juniors scoring twice to take the lead. Crown fought back and levelled the scores, but the visitors scored the winner laste in the game. Crown scorers were Kadir Hamed, Mohamed Suleman and Mohamed Ali.

Granby Phoenix 3

Stanbury Park Rangers 1

Phoenix finally laid the ghost of Stanbury with a hard fought victory.

Both teams played attacking football with Jonal Ali back on song with a goal midway through the first half. Steve Holgate increased the home side's lead just before the half time whistle.

Stanbury threw everything at Phoenix after the re-start and their effort was rewarded when Damien rowell scored.

With five minutes left Colin Horsfield secured victory for Phoenix, their first against Standbury for quite some time.

Old Swan Clarets 5

Brown Cow 1

The visitors scored the only goal of the first half, which they dominated, but Clarets powered back into the game after the break. The hit Brown Cow with everything they had got scoring five goals without reply.

Michael Watson scored four with Steve Ward also on the scoresheet for Swan.
