A Cullingworth mother is seeing red at her daughter's latest stage role.

Leonie Richmond is playing the same part that her mother Helen played seven years ago with the village's CADS drama group. They both played the title role in the same version of pantomime Red Riding Hood.

Helen has been a member of CADS for around 15 years, regularly playing piano and occasionally performing in revues and pantos.

Leonie joined ten years ago and worked her way up through the chorus to play her first principal role two years ago.

Helen will be able to keep an eye on her daughter when Red Riding Hood is performed from February 16-20: she is the musical director. And from her keyboard she will also see younger daughter Joelle, ten, as she performs in the children's chorus. Tickets for the 7.30pm performances are on sale at Cullingworth Pharmacy.
