Paul Hudson, BBC Look North's weatherman, is set to become involved with the daring jailbreak by Keighley Rotarians at tomorrow's Keighley Show.

When the 'prisoners' have made their bid for freedom at 2pm Paul, the celebrity guest at the 43rd annual show, will remain, making special appearances throughout the day.

The showground opens in time for showjumping classes starting at 8.30am, dog agility at 11.15am, driving classes from 1.30pm and the Grand Parade at 3.30pm.

Special attractions include a rope-making demonstration, Keighley News fun marquee, an owl show and a rare breeds show.

In the arena will be heavy horses, driving, mountain and moorland breeds, riding and showjumping, shetland ponies, mounted fancy dress and decorated shire horses.

Hundreds of agricultural and horticultural classes and trade stands make this one of the largest shows in Yorkshire.

Visitors can size up cattle, sheep, pedigree dairy and pigmy goats, poultry and bantams, rabbits and ferrets. There will be marquees for horticulture, with organic and allotment displays as well as show produce, handicrafts and domestic classes, a flower academy and flower club show.

Children's pets and a baby show are part of the fun. At 5.15pm remaining horticultural items will be auctioned, with bargains in flowers and show quality vegetables.

Discount tickets are available today from Keighley Information Centre and local village post offices. Tickets cost £4 for adults or £3 for passport to leisure holders.

Admission on the day costs £5 for adults, £3 for senior citizens, £2 for children up to the age of 15. Children under five are free. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £12.
