West Riding County Amateur League Mumtaz Premier Division leaders Phoenix surrendered their 100 per cent start, losing to two late goals by Wibsey strikers.

Wibsey pressurised their visitors and, despite dominating the first half, failed to turn their territorial advantage into goals.

Phoenix took the lead when Danny Spencer scored after Wibsey failed to clear their area following a rare excursion upfield.

Clearly shaken by this setback, Wibsey picked up their game and deservedly got their two goals, Chris Arum equalising and Adie Howard netting the winner.

Campion visited last season's runners-up Hemsworth Miners Welfare and returned 5-0 winners, Andy Yates (4) and Brian Guy scoring the goals.

Tyersal remain pointless after going down 4-1 at Brighouse Town, Andy Sugden equalised Leighton Arm-strong's opener, but further goals from Adam Armitage, Jason Wood and Sean Walsh left Tyersal bottom.

Otley Town lost their perfect record - five wins from five games - in Division One, losing 2-0 at Bay Athletic.

Dudley Hill Athletic found their scoring touch as they demolished visitors Farnley 6-1, Mark Papworth and Gary Elvidge scoring in the first half before Andy Cuffe (2) and Dave Elvidge (2) completed the rout. Andrew Brewer got Farnley's consolation.

New boys Stump Cross extended their unbeaten run to five games after coming from behind on two occasions to beat Pudsey Liberals 5-3.

Carl Douglas was the hero for Raw-don Old Boys at Ventus-Yeadon, his goal ten minutes from time giving his side a 1-0 victory.

Efforts from Ryan Briggs and Stuart Thompson gave Overthorpe a 2-0 victory over Heavy Woollen neighbours Heckmondwike Town.

Silsden extended their unbeaten start to six games and take over at the top of Division Two after Andy Geary, Mick Douse, Andy Holden and Mick Bland scored in their 4-0 home victory over Dynamoes. Previous leaders Dudley Hill Rangers lost 4-3 at Phoenix Reserves.

Baildon Trinity Athletic surrendered all three points to visitors Keighley Shamrocks.

Nick James gave the home side a 1-0 half-time advantage they deserved, but a spirited second half display from Shamrocks and goals from Paul Driver (2) and Howard Gilbert ended the Baildon's sides hopes of victory.

Salts, playing in Division Two for the first time in their long history, slipped to a third defeat in ten days.

Paul Heggarty put Salts in the lead from the penalty spot at Kinsley Boys, but they failed to capitalise and went down 3-1 following strikes from Andy Taberner, Lee Kelly and Damian Allen.

Steeton, who escaped relegation last season, slipped into bottom spot following their 3-0 home defeat against Westbrook Wanderers.

Newcomers Roberttown continue to climb the table, a 4-0 victory at home to Campion Reserves taking them into second place behind Batley Town, who are eight points clear after beating Ventus-Yeadon Reserves 6-1.
