Club captain Steve McNamara says he will put to one side speculation over his future and concentrate on helping the Bulls lift the Super League title in next month's Grand Final at Old Trafford.

McNamara, whose Odsal contract runs out at the end of the season, is the subject of a lucrative offer from Huddersfield Giants.

His Bulls' place could be under threat if the club signs Aussie back-rower Brad Mackay for next season as widely expected.

Super League's wooden spoonists Huddersfield are also being linked with Salford skipper Steve Blakeley but both moves are on hold as the Giants wait to hear whether they will be relegated.

The Giants could still be spared if either Grand Finalists Dewsbury or Hunslet win the Northern Ford Premiership. Only Widnes of the clubs left in the hunt for the title would appear to meet the criteria for a Super League application.

McNamara said: "My priority is to reach Old Trafford and win the Super League trophy.

"Then I'll see what develops from there. Ideally I would like to stay at Bradford but there are a few options open to me. Talks are on-going with Bradford."

McNamara and the rest of the Bulls squad were beginning a week's break today ahead of their play-off semi-final on Sunday, September 26.

The Bulls will meet the winners of the first play-off match between runners-up St Helens and Leeds at Knowsley Road on Friday.

Wigan take on Castleford in the other tie at the new JJB Stadium on Sunday with the losers being eliminated.

Tickets for the Bulls tie went on sale at Odsal today. Season ticket holders have until Saturday to claim their seats and should produce their book.
