Bulls fans are snapping up tickets for the Grand Final in big numbers even before their side have qualified for the Old Trafford climax.

Supporters are making sure of their seats with demand said to be high at both Odsal and Super League headquarters in Leeds.

Bulls spokesman Simon Fox said: "We have had a lot of enquiries for Old Trafford already and because of the time scale involved we have had to make a lot of arrangements on the basis that we will be in the final."

And Super League press spokesman Andrew Whitelam said: "Two thirds of the enquiries on our ticket hot-line have been from Bulls supporters.

"They seem to be pretty confident that the side will reach the final and I am sure if they make it their fans will grace Old Trafford.

"Tickets generally are going really well and we are hopeful of attracting a crowd in the region of 50,000."

The Bulls also reported a good response when semi-final tickets went on general sale at Odsal yesterday. Season ticket holders have until Saturday to reserve their seats.

Another bumper crowd is expected for the clash at Odsal on Sunday, September 26 against the winners of Fri-day's match between St Helens and Leeds Rhinos.
