New signing Bruno Rodriguez is set to make his full debut when Bradford City take on Reading in tonight's Worthing-ton Cup match at the Bradford & Bingley Stadium.

The 26-year-old French B international striker played for the last 12 minutes of Sunday's Premiership match against Tottenham.

But the Paris St Germain player, who is on loan for the rest of the season, is set to be in the starting line-up for the second round, first leg tie.

Also set for a full debut is goalkeeper Matthew Clarke. Gary Walsh takes a well deserved rest after his heroics against Spurs.

Clarke, who began his career with Rotherham, joined City from Sheffield Wednesday during the summer.

Manager Paul Jewell has five players from Sunday's starting line-up out injured and three others doubtful.

Definitely out is skipper Stuart McCall whose stoppage time equaliser earned City their valuable point. McCall who returned to action three weeks ago after two operations during the summer, has an Achilles tendon injury.

Also missing are winger Peter Beagrie (hamstring strain), defender Gunnar Halle (thigh strain), left back Wayne Jacobs (dead leg) and defender David Wetherall (ankle).

Strikers Dean Saunders (knee) and Lee Mills - who got a kick in the face against Spurs - are doubtful while defender Andrew O'Brien may be rested.

It shows the strength of Jewell's squad that players like right back Stephen Wright and central defenders Darren Moore and Ashley Westwood can come in as replacements.

All three played important roles in last season's promotion success but have been unable to force their way into the side this term.

The match comes just two days after City's demanding test against Spurs and Jewell did have the option when the draw was made of moving the tie to tomorrow.

That would have given his players a longer rest, but he said: "I opted for Tuesday to give the us longer to recover for our match at Aston Villa on Saturday."

City have reduced admission prices to £13 for adults in the Sunwin Stand and £11 in the Carlsberg Stand.

The prices for senior citizens will be £7 and £6 respectively and £4 and £3 for juniors.

Reading supporters will be in the Symphony Stand while the Ciba Stand on Midland Road will be closed for tonight's match.
