Print firm Triangle Repro and Print takes involvement with its customers very seriously.

The firm, which was started as Triangle Reprographics in 1995 by managing director Dominic Copsey, holds discussions with its customers on design as soon as the ink settles on the contract and prides itself in the regular consultation it has with clients.

The company started on the Moorfield Business Park, Yeadon, and in its first year of trading as a print firm had a turnover of £650,000 which has since risen to £3 million this year.

Over the years the firm has grown and now employs 28 staff in bigger premises on the same site. The move was needed when the firm bought a Heidleberg 6. colour press.

Now the firm, which has only been printing for 18 months, has won the brochure Printer of the Year Award 1999 - a prestigious print trade accolade - organised by monthly magazine Print Week. Triangle was also shortlisted for the Creative Repro Company of the Year category in the same awards.

Triangle was up against stiff competition and beat off a number of top print firms to win the award. It is the first time it has entered a competition of this kind.

Dominic Copsey said: "The heat is on for us to maintain the high standards with which we have been accredited and continue to produce award-winning work for our ever-expanding client base."

He said the firm planned to expand in the next 12 months by acquiring another colour press and installing a central database for clients to browse their images and call them via the Internet to ensure their needs could be met.

He said: "We are very conscious that our portfolio is the client's portfolio and do everything we can to achieve the very best result. I aim to make Triangle the first choice printer for the creative industry in the UK."
