Bradford Bulls took time out from their pre-season training to urge people to get fit in the New Year.
Launching a new health and exercise campaign by Bradford Council, the Bulls were working off Christmas excesses at Images, one of seven Council-run fitness centres which can now be accessed by the public with a new Millennium Card.
The pass, which costs £200, allows unlimited use of gym equipment for 12 months and can also be used at 11 swimming pools across the district.
Council lead member for Sport and Recreation, Coun Derek Kettlewell, said it would allow more people to enjoy the benefits of being active and generally looking after their health.
He said: "People often think about getting fitter after all the festivities of Christmas and with this New Year being a bit special, it's a really good time to do something that helps people who make a special effort to get fitter."
The cards will be available from participating leisure centres and pools throughout January.
