Grattan League: West Park and Rafters - the bottom two clubs in Division Two - are out of the league.

West Park have been kicked out as they failed to fulfil three successive fixtures before last weekend.

"They have had no contact with the league over any of these matches, despite numerous attempts by us," said a league spokesman.

"Rafters have resigned because of a lack of support."

The upshot of these withdrawals is that Baildon have been crowned divisional champions, despite not kicking a ball at the weekend.

And they are still on course for a treble as they are in the League Cup semi-finals and also have a divisional cup to play for.

The runners-up position could go down to the last game of the season. Second-placed Strachans won at Cross Keys, Paul Jennings giving them the lead and Roger White scoring the winner in a 2-1 score. Strachans only need a point from their last game, but that is against Eccleshill Sports and Social Club, who also have a chance of finishing second.

Eccleshill stayed on course after a 9-2 victory at Smiling Mule B, but still need to win their last three games.

Man of the match Dave O'Nal led the way with three goals, others coming from Darren (The Tank) Clark (2), Floyd Philps, John Kilkenny, Jamie Hodgkin and Wayne Hearsum.

Bradford Moor YSA continue to set the pace in Division One, but East Bowling could have been 3-0 ahead before Moor got into their stride.

East Bowling were 2-0 behind at the interval, and the final tally was 6-0, the marksmen being Zafar Mir (2), Sajid Khan (2), Majid Iqbal and Jamil Ahmed.

Second-placed Bierley United were also comprehensive winners, defeating White Horse 7-2, Mark Warren (3), Robert Harrison (2), Luke Wilcocks and Danny Keenan on target.

Smiling Mule recovered well from the shock of conceding a goal direct from a Gary Boldy corner against Old King's Head. That made the score 1-1, but Mule went on to win 4-1, two of the goals coming late on.

The bottom two met, Gall-opers hoping to break their points duck at the 14th try.

But Mail Coach had other ideas and won 3-0 with strikes from Adam Page, Peter Pilgrim and John Chapman.

In the Premier Division, reigning champions Woodend Rangers had a bad day, losing 6-1 at basement club Hudson's 98.

The victors took their chances on a poor pitch, Tony Carroll scoring four, Les Cooper and Dave Loxan making up the tally.

Lexicon continue to 'draw a bad hand', and lost their seventh game in succession - 3-0 at Victoria 99.

Sean Hodgson and Carl Firth gave Victoria a 2-0 half-time lead, and Mark Davis sealed matters in the second half.

Brannigans made it a good day for lower-placed teams, defeating U Save DIY 4-2.

Wayne Payton (penalty) and Scott Hird gave them a 2-0 interval lead, and they each scored again in the second half, Hird putting the result beyond doubt.
