POLICE raided a number of Keighley and Bradford addresses yesterday and made six arrests in connection with last week's disturbance at Marley stadium.

As reported in last week's Keighley News residents living nearby heard what they des-cribed as "gun-shots" and saw a number of cars crashing into each other in the early hours of the Wednesday morning.

Four men aged between 17 and 25 were in custody at Keighley police station yesterday morning and a further two men aged 16 and 18 were being held at Toller Lane police station in Bradford.

All six were arrested for violent disorder as were the three men who were arrested and subsequently released on police bail last week.

Keighley's Detective Chief Inspector Gary Baker - pictured - says: "We're holding two of them at Toller Lane because they are from opposing sides in the alleged dispute."
