ANTHONY GILL won the Seb Coe award for top athlete at the Yorkshire Athletics championship.
The East Morton athlete won by the 100m flat race and the 110 metres hurdles. He is a student at Staffordshire University and is being helped in helped in his quest for a British Athletics vest by the Wastepoint Group and the City of Bradford Athletics Development Scheme. this weekend he is to represent British Universities in a five team international at Loughborough, one of a several 'Road to Sydney meetings for aspiring Olympic athletes.
Female hammer throwers Suzanne roberts and Cassie Wilson returned from warm weather training in Benidorm and took 1st and 2nd places.
Oliver Brewer won the International men's 400m hurdles and 1500m steeplechase. He has already qualified for the English Schools Championships.
