TWO Menston brothers have used their fancy footwork to catch the eye of Leeds United Academy.
Callum and Aiden White, of West Chevin Road, in Menston, scored with selectors for the club's training squad at a special try-out. Now they look set to live out every young boys dream and join the academy.
Callum, ten, is undergoing an assessment course for one of the coveted places and younger brother Aiden, eight, has definitely secured a place.
The boys' proud dad, Chris, said: "They went on a half term course with Leeds United in the Community and from there they were asked to go an assessment centre for a ten-week course. They were then asked to go to Leeds United Academy and Aiden was asked to stay and Callum is back on assessments. They have both done really well."
The brothers, who are pupils at St Joseph's Primary School in Otley and are members of Menston Hotshots, are avid fans of the Leeds team and say it is their dream come true.
Callum said: "It is brilliant. We play football a lot. We practise every morning before we go to school. What I like best about it is that its fun."
