Next-door neighbours in a Cullingworth street have gone down the same road when it comes to choosing cars.

The three families between them now own six Suzukis. Five of the vehicles are Vitaras.

"We live on an unmade road in a village that can really catch the weather in winter," says one of the neighbours, Ralph Beard.

"The Vitara was a natural choice with its off-road capabilities combined with saloon comfort for everyday driving."

The vehicles have all been supplied by Colin Appleyard Cars in Keighley, whose general manager Robin Luscombe says: "We are a family-run business and aim to provide a friendly yet professional service.

"It is testimony not only to the cars we sell but also to the commitment of our staff when customers return time and time again.

"That said we've not had an entire street buying vehicles from us before. It's a salesman's dream."
