A Keighley DIY store is bringing colour into the lives of Bracken Bank residents.
B&Q has donated 16 tins of free paint to spruce up the estate's St Michael's Youth and Community Centre.
Community leaders are now looking for volunteers willing to paint all the inside and outside walls.
Mary Hamid, chairman of Bracken Bank Community Association, this week accepted the paint from members of B&Q staff.
She says the paint will help the association complete refurbishment work on the building off Bracken Bank Grove.
The centre's ageing felt roof was recently replaced with a fibreglass roof, using surplus money from the association's annual Bradford council grant.
Mary says: "The whole building needs painting. I can't remember when it was last done. B&Q have shown that local business is helping the local community."
