Coach Matthew Elliott has warned his unbeaten Bradford Bulls side to be on their guard at Wilderspool tomorrow.

The Warrington Wolves are under pressure after failing to live up to pre-season hype and they are still sore about their Challenge Cup semi-final defeat at the hands of the Bulls.

But Elliott believes that makes them dangerous opponents.

"They are a team under pressure, in fact their whole organisation is under pressure and that can be the wrong time to encounter them," he said.

"There is a lot of expectation at the club and there are a lot of quality players and all that is bound to come to fruition sometime. I am sure that they would like it to be against us.

"They caught us on the hop in the semi-final and perhaps the final scoreline of 44-20 did not reflect how close the game was.

"I think they will be looking to use this game to do something special and we need to focus on putting in our best performance to get the victory that we need."

Bulls back-rower Mike Forshaw is also preparing for something of a backlash.

He said: "They will have been waiting for tomorrow since the two games with them in March. They will feel they have a point to prove and that a victory over us would re-ignite their season.

"But I thought we played very well at Leeds last week and defensively we were outstanding. Brad Mackay has said he has not seen a better defensive system and that is the key to what we are doing.

"A couple of years ago it would have been individual performances that stood out but now it is the teamwork that is the key to our success."

The Bulls were boosted by rivals Leeds beating title-challengers Wigan 26-19 at Headingley last night.

Elliott has still to finalise his side but Michael Withers has been ruled out with a leg injury. Tevita Vaikona is available again after hamstring trouble.

lTo get to Wilderspool take the M62 to the M6. Then take the M6 to Junction 21 and follow the A57 into Warrington. This joins up with the A49 in the town centre. Follow signs for "A49 Whit-church". Wilderspool stadium is on the left after going over Wilderspool Causeway.
