A Keighley Cougar is the latest entrant in our Where in the World competition

Rugby player Evan Griffin, of Providence Lane, Oakworth, is pictured in front of the Nittany Lion, the emblem of Penn State University in the USA.

A geography student at Lancaster University, Evan has spent his second year studying at the university in Pennsylvania, alongside 40,000 other students.

Evan's parents Sam and Alwen took the photo during their visit to the university over Easter.

Sam says: "The university is right next to Mount Nittany, which used to be inhabited by Mountain Lions, also known as Cugars, so the university uses the lion as its emblem.

"Evan has done very well out there and is enjoying university life. It is the top draft college for American footballers and the sports facilities are just incredible - it's a different world.

"One of the students has just signed a multi-million dollar contract with an NFL team and he is only in his early twenties.

"Evan has joined a college rugby team, but unfortunately they are the only ones who have to pay for their own kit. The team has played all over the country in places like New Orleans, Florida, Washington and Boston.

"We've been sending him rugby cuttings all the time he has been over there to keep him up to date with what's happening at home."

A former Oakbank School pupil, Evan is a member of Keighley Rugby Union Club and has played at hooker for the Keighley Colts.

He will return to Lancaster University this summer to complete the final year of his degree.
