Bradford City supporters are being urged to arrive early for tomorrow's match against Leicester City to see Sky TV pundit Rodney Marsh have his head shaved on the pitch in aid of the Bradford Burns Unit.

The hair-raising deed will be done at 2.40pm, 20 minutes before the kick-off.

But managing director Shaun Harvey also wants fans to arrive early to avoid congestion at the turnstiles which caused Tuesday's match against Chelsea to start ten minutes late.

"I want to avoid congestion at the turnstiles like we had on Tuesday. This, I believe, was the combination of an evening game when supporters normally arrive late and the redevelopment of the ground which has reduced the roads people use to get to the turnstiles."

City have plenty of tickets available for the match. Chairman Geoffrey Richmond said: "There is an impression that the match is sold out. That is not the case.

"I urge people who plan to attend the match to contact the ticket office early and in person if possible because the phones are very busy.

"The office will be open tomorrow, but if people can come to the ground today it would help enormously."

The Supporters Club will be collecting for the burns unit at the game.
