It was a nice day for a white wedding when bikers Lee Holmes and Tracey Naylor tied the knot.

The couple were surrounded by family and friends as they exchanged their vows at the venue of the country's largest annual Harley Davidson rally.

It was at the event on Baildon Moor two years ago when the pair's eyes first met across the chrome. And at last year's rally Tracey, of Shipley, accepted Lee's proposal of marriage.

The couple were married yesterday at Bradford Register Office followed by a special biker blessing at Dobrudden Caravan Park in Baildon.

"We thought it was the ideal place for the service because that's where all the other big moments in our relationship have taken place," said Tracey, 35. "It was a shame we couldn't hold the actual wedding there but that was the special part of the day."

And after spotting an advert in a biking magazine, they invited Alex Willow, a member of The Knights of Antioch Christian Bike Club, to conduct the service. He rode up from Eastbourne especially for the occasion.

"It was cool," he said, after the ceremony. "I really enjoyed it and would love to do it again. But I was more nervous before than at my own wedding!"

Tracey opted for a traditional dress but arrived at the venue on the back of her favourite mode of transport - leading a convoy of Harley riders.

Lee, 34, who donned the traditional morning suit, said: "It's been really great and just what we wanted."

Many of the 150 guests arrived at the ceremony on their bikes and in their leathers, with Meatloaf's Bat Out Of Hell playing to welcome them to the ceremony.

Shirley Day, a friend of the couple, said it was the first time she had seen a wedding like this. "I've been coming to the rally for 20 years but this is certainly different to anything I've seen before."

The couple, who will continue to live together in Morley, Leeds, are putting their honeymoon on hold while they enjoy the weekend mixing with fellow Harley Davidson fans at the 20th anniversary of the rally at Baildon Moor.

Tracey said: "We've been coming for years now and wouldn't miss it for the world."

The rally started today and continues throughout the weekend. Around 800 people are expected to attend.

The newlyweds then plan to travel down south next week on an exploration holiday at Stonehenge.

Don Frear, Yorkshire representative of the Harley Riders, said: "I think it's fantastic. People have come from all over to help the pair celebrate."
