Frozen food retailer Iceland, which has stores in West Yorkshire, has seen group sales increase by eight per cent in the last six months.
The retailer, which bought cash and carry group Booker in May for £373.5 million, jumped by six per cent in the six months to July 1.
The Booker acquisition, which was completed in June, did not contribute to this period's figures. Pre-tax profits at the group increased to £32.1 million, against £29.2 million in the comparable period before, and turnover was up to £997.9 million, from £925.6 the time before.
