Skipton were made to fight all the way to keep their 100 per cent record against Shoulder of Mutton.

The former Raiseprint side played a big part in a storming first half. Skipton opened the scoring, but Shoulder hit back with two goals only to see the home team draw level.

In the second half Shoulder ran out of steam as Skipton scored three goals. Skipton scorers were Michael Osazenko (2), Jimmy McConville (2), and Ian Barnard. Shoulder's marksmen were K Spence, P Hutchinson and Kelly Anderton.

Midlands beat Keighley United 3-2. They edged the first half 2-1 and both teams scored once in the second period. Andy Nelson (2) and Nick Ferrara were on target for Midlands with United's goals coming from Azim and an own goal.

Brown Cow opened the scoring against Stockbridge. The goal acted as a wake-up call for the visitors who hammered home a hat-trick.

A flurry of activity in the saw Brown Cow on top but they could not convert their pressure into goals and Stockbridge gradually took control to secure a 4-1 victory. Stockbridge scorers were A Dacres, L Fickles, B Hepworth and I Hudson with Brown Cow's only goal coming from R Roberts.

Cottingley suffered their first defeat of the season at home to Bocking who took the early advantage. The home side hit back but Bocking grabbed the only goal of the second half. Their scorers were C Cussons and Ian Smith.

Keighley Victoria beat Silsden Athletic by six goals in a one-sided match.

St Annes Celtic carry the flag for the league in the County Cup after beating Springfield 2-0 with both first half goals coming from Dave Harman.
