The festive season brought added excitement for Mr and Mrs B C Lawn and their sons, of East Manywells Farm, Cullingworth, when twin calves were born on Christmas Day. Mrs Hilda Lawn said: "It is rather unusual to have lambs so early; they aren't generally born until March or April. The calves were expected about this time and in the past we have had them a couple of days before Christmas or a couple of days after, but never actually on Christmas Day.''
