Midwives at Airedale Hospital had a hectic time in the early hours of Christmas Day with three of the four Christmas morning babies being born within an hour, between 5.25 and 6.22 -- two by Caesarean section.
The first arrival was Oliver, a first baby for Caren Daley, pictured.
Caren, a care assistant, of Grange Crescent, Riddlesden, gave birth at 5.25 to Oliver, who weighed 7lb 3oz.
"I went into labour on Christmas Eve. He was born on exactly the day we expected and we're very happy," said Caren, whose partner is 33-year-old electrician Paul Crabtree.
