DOUGIE LAMPKIN goes for his fifth Indoor World Trials Championship when the campaign gets underway at Sheffield Arena next weekend.
The 24-year-old Silsden rider has totally dominated the sport for the last four years, winning both indoor and outdoor world titles.
The Embassy World Trials Chmpionship on January 6, is the first round of the 2001 FIM World Indoor Championships. The Sheffield event is Dougie's favourite competition.
He told KN Sport: "I feel under pressure, but I love riding in front of the home crowd. Every time I win at Sheffield it makes it even more special when I return the following year.
"I just hope I can win again as it's always a great way to start the new season."
