WRITER Kay Mellor will be dropping in to Yeadon this weekend to see a production of Oliver.
The writer, whose television credits include Playing the Field and Band of Gold, will be the guest of Yeadon Amateur Operatic Dramatic Society president Dr Makhan Thakur.
"The society is honoured that Kay is to attend Oliver this week. As a writer who shirks nothing in researching fully her subject matter, I'm sure she will appreciate all the hard work of the production team, principles and company," said Dr Makhan.
He added: "Kay's visit will be a first to local amateur theatre, and we hope she'll enjoy the show along with our audiences."
