INROADS were made into the Craven Football League's cup competitions at the weekend.
Cross Hills, Grindleton and Clitheroe reached the semi-finals of the Premier League Cup. Clitheroe came from behind in a thrilling match against Skipton LMS which was finally decided on penalties.
Holders Skipton Bulldogs and Oxenhope both came through first round matches and now meet each other for the right to join the other three in the semi-final.
In the Division One Cup Barnoldswick United beat Keighley Lifts to reach the semi-final while Bradley beat Intake in the first round. The most exciting match was at Skipton Town where Carleton scored a last minute equaliser and then went on to win the penalty shoot-out.
